The Best Way to Reach Me

Email is the only channel I monitor consistently. I cannot always reply quickly, particularly when new content is being written, but I read everything. If your question is time-sensitive, say so in the subject line.

Worth knowing before you write: I am not an attorney and cannot give legal advice on your specific situation. What I can do is point you toward the relevant part of the site, clarify something that was not clear, or tell you honestly when what you are dealing with needs a professional.

What Gets a Response

The emails that get the most useful reply are the specific ones. Not “I have debt problems” but “a collector called claiming I owe a balance I do not recognize and I do not know whether to respond.” That level of detail makes it possible to say something worth reading back.

Corrections are always welcome. If something on this site is wrong, outdated, or missing context that changes the picture, I want to know. Some of the most useful pages here started as reader questions.

If you worked in debt collection and have something to add or push back on from the inside, that is particularly worth sending.

This site does not accept guest posts, sponsored content, link insertions, or partnership requests of any kind. Emails along those lines are not answered.
